What's included in the price?

Your own private en-suite bedroom featuring quality bed linens, luxurious fluffy white towels, premium toiletries, tea / coffee and cookies, free Wi-Fi and parking with a delicious breakfast served each morning in our spacious dining room.

When making a reservation, how much do I need to pay up front?

If you select a refundable rate, you do not need to pay anything up front but you will need to enter valid credit card details to guarantee the reservation. In this situation payment is due a week before check in and our preference is payment by online bank transfer. If you would prefer to pay by credit card a small charge of 2.5% will be added to cover some of the transaction fees.

If you select a non-refundable rate to obtain a discounted rate, payment is due at the time of booking.

What is your cancellation Policy?

A valid credit card is required when booking but no charge is made at this time. 7 days prior to arrival, we will contact you to request payment through online bank transfer. 

For refundable reservations, you can cancel up to 6 days prior to arrival date with no charge. If you cancel within 6 days of your arrival date, the balance due for the reservation is payable in full.

Is it best to book directly with you or through a 3rd party website?

How far away the nearest local services?

There is a convenience store, pubs and restaurants close by in Spean Bridge, just a five-minute drive from Springburn Farmhouse. If you decide to dine locally, we recommended booking in advance to avoid disappointment, particularly during the busy Summer months. 

Fort William is the nearest main town around 12 miles away. Here you’ll find a huge choice of shops, tourist attractions, bars and restaurants

ARE CHILDREN WELOME?

Yes, children are welcome but only children aged 12 years and over 

Do we need a car to get around?

Yes, to get the best out of your visit a car is recommended. We are situated in a quiet rural location approx. 2 miles outside the village of Spean Bridge and around 12 miles from Fort William.

What time can we access our room?

You are welcome to check-in from 3pm any time up to 8pm. If you will arrive later than this, please let us know so we can arrange self-check in. If you need access earlier than 3pm, please contact us and we will try our best to help.

What time is check out?

On the day of your departure, we would appreciate it if you could check out by 10am.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is ample parking – when you arrive just follow the drive up on the right and park in one of the marked bays in front of the house.

Do you accept Pets?

Unfortunately, we do not accept pets in the guest house. However, our self-catering cabins located adjacent the house can accommodate up to 2 well behaved dogs by prior arrangement.

What is your Smoking policy?

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the guest house. Those wishing to smoke are welcome to do so outside the property where an ash bin is located to the left of the front door. We would, however, respectfully ask guests not to smoke outside bedroom windows located to the right of the front door.
